Doug Simpson

With a degree in Natural Resource Planning from Humboldt State University, Doug Simpson has logged over a thousand hours underwater as a scientific SCUBA diver, carried propane tanks up mountains as a backcountry ski porter, and guided passengers down the scenic Trinity River in California and Clark Fork River in Montana as a whitewater rafting guide. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental journalism at the University of Montana.
